Congratulations are in order to the Development Committee on the 3rd Annual Darby Dan Trail Ride held at the well-known historic farm begun by the Galbreath family, owners & breeders of TWO Kentucky Derby winners, Chateaugay (1963) and Proud Clarion (1967)! The major players in this event were Debbie & George Bowers-Richards, Valerie Alloy, Sharon Chappelear, Carroll Bowman, Mara Protich and Loraine Teets. Their assistants are too numerous to list, but are we value their contribution tremendously. There were 26 riders who enjoyed the magnificent countryside in Galloway, and a delicious luncheon and swag bags at the Gay Chateau. This event garnered more than $30,000 in net profits for our missions of retired hound care, wildlife habitats and land conservation.
